From August 2005 to August 2006, I was a military
journalist for the U.S. Army in Iraq. I’ve
served in the same capacity in Kosovo, Macedonia
and Korea. My military specialty allowed me to travel
all over Iraq and interview thousands of soldiers,
from private to general. I think since I’ve
seen so much of the war in Iraq that I’m duty-bound
to do what I can to make it right.
I’ve been married for 6 years now
to Kristen, the most beautiful and intelligent woman
I know. Together we have two beautiful children,
Eliza (2) and Peter (2 months). I want them
to know that her parents did all they could to make
the world a better place.
In the Spring of 2007, Kristen, Eliza, and I went
to Jerusalem for an internship with the Associated
Press, and I’m currently working as a reporter
for the Standard Examiner in Ogden, Utah.
